Has
your WBC count finally gone back up to normal?
My
total white blood cell count (WBCs) has come up into the normal range
after my chemotherapy in 1995. It fluctuates between the 3000-4500 range
(my labs normal limits are 4000-10,000). During the 10 years between
my two breast cancer diagnoses, my total WBCs were always in the 2000
range, sometimes even in the high 1000 range. My oncologist is pleased
(an understatement) and surprised that they have been able to recover
and even improve to levels this high after my 4 rounds of chemotherapy
with Cytoxan and Adriamycin in 1995.
