Q - What do you recommend for an anti-cancer diet to people who choose not to eat soy foods? For people who do not include soy foods in the diet for a high quality protein source, I suggest following a diet similar to a Mediterranean diet, which includes lots of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, fish, olive oil, some dairy foods, some chicken, a glass of wine on a daily basis, and small amounts of red meat only a few times per month. It is important to remember that the many countries with a Mediterranean culture have different foods in their typical diets and that daily exercise is a key component. My diet is a variation of the Mediterranean diet with the addition of 1-3 servings of soyfoods daily. Additional
