My blender won't blend the carrots. Do you have other suggestions?

I have heard this from several people. I would suggest any one of the following changes: using baby food carrots, steaming the carrots first, using thawed frozen carrots, or even using cooked sweet potatoes. The carotenoid content (beta-carotene, alpha-carotene and many others) are stable in heat and food processing.html.
