Gingery Cole Slaw

This recipe was developed from what I had on hand. Feel free to add or subtract ingredients depending on what you have available also! It has such an unexpected but delicious flavor that I had to stop myself from “picking at it” by putting it out of sight in the refrig since dinner was still an hour away.

2 cups shredded green cabbage
2 cups shredded red cabbage
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 red apple, chopped into medium chunks
1/4 cup Annie’s Naturals Organic Spicy Ginger Marinade
2 Tbsp. water
small handful pomegranate seeds

  • Mix the green and red cabbage, celery, nuts, and apple pieces in a bowl large enough to carefully stir the ingredients.
  • Shake or mix together the marinade and water then pour over the slaw and toss until all ingredients are coated lightly.
  • Add the pomegranate seeds on top for garnish.

Makes about 6 cups of slaw. Enjoy!
